Four men molested a woman and assaulted her husband during an argument at a club in Gurugram. Police officials gave this information on Tuesday. A senior police officer said that an FIR has been registered in the matter.
The police team is trying to identify the accused with the help of CCTV footage. According to the complaint lodged by the woman, a resident of Sector 102 here, the incident took place on March 10 when she had gone to a club in Sector 40 with her husband. The woman said while she was dancing on the dance floor.
During the dance, four people started abusing the woman. The woman said that when she protested, the accused not only beat her but also molested her. Based on the woman’s complaint, an FIR was registered under sections 323, 354, 34 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) against four unidentified persons at the Sector 40 police station here on Monday, officials said.
